Louella Marie (Urban) Miner

Louella Marie (Urban) Miner, age 81, of McCook, NE joined her husband, Paul Miner, in Heaven on Thursday, January 2, 2020. She passed away at Hillcrest ‘A Caring Center” in McCook.

Louella was born November 29, 1938 in Pfeifer, KS to parents William and Bertha (Jacobs) Urban.  She was one of six children who grew up in Kansas where she also attended school.

On February 22, 1955 Louella married Paul Miner.  To this union two children were born, Darin and Paula.

Over the years, Louella enjoyed pottery, polka music, word searches, reading bird watching and genealogy.

Louella was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Miner; her parents; two brothers, Bill and Arthur Urban; and her sisters, Sylvia Dahle and Pat Streit.

Those left to celebrate her life include her children, Darin (Bernadette) Miner and Paula (Patrick) Doyle, all of McCook; grandchildren, Kathy, Swanlee, Christina and Sueanne Miner and Meagan, Ethan and Kolt Doyle; great grandson, Aaron Schoeszler, Jr; and her two sisters, Alaverna Shearer and Elaine Shearer.

Louella was laid to rest next to her husband on Friday, January 03, 2020 at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE.
