Marian Ellen Croutcher

Marian Ellen Croutcher of McCook passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Community Hospital. She was 84 years old.
Marian was born on December 17, 1928 at McCook to parents, Harold Harvey and Nellie Louise (Echternach) Snyder. She graduated from McCook High School with the class of 1947.
On June 15, 1952, she was united in marriage to Norris Richard Croutcher in McCook. They were blessed with three children. Norris preceded her in death on May 23, 1969.
Marian was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending all of their activities. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going to garage sales, and working in her flower and vegetable garden.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold and Nellie Snyder; husband, Norris Croutcher; and brother, Alvin “Snick” Snyder.
Survivors include her children; son, Steve Croutcher of North Platte; daughters, Lisa and husband, Barry Ellis, of Culbertson and Rhonda and husband, Tim Roth, of Bellevue; five grandchildren, Megan, Matt, Colette, Jordyn and Elliott; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Norma Bailey of Avon, Illinois; numerous family and a host of friends.
