Marvin Dean Greenlee, 69 of McCook, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 at Community Hospital.
He was born October 18, 1935 to Marion Grant and Marjorie Gladys (Hall) Greenlee at Stockville. He graduated from Red Willow High School on May 13, 1954.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict 1956-1962.
He spent his lifetime living in the McCook area. He worked for Parker-Hannifen (formally Dayco) for 31 years.
On July 9, 1961 he married Sandra Hoff in McCook. To this union one daughter, Paris, was born. Sandra died November 28, 1986.
He married Marlene M. Junge on June 17, 1988 at Imperial.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1652.
He was preceded in death by his parents; is wife Sandra; three brothers, Gerald, Dennis and Gary; and one sister, Janet Porter.
Survivors include: wife, Marlene; daughter Paris Province and husband Rick of McCook; four step-children, Max Kaiser and wife Joni of Imperial; Alan Kaiser and wife Tami of Lincoln, Boyd Kaiser and wife Deb of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Gary Kaiser and wife Stacy of Sargent Bluff, Iowa; one brother, Oren Greenlee and wife Judy of Indianola; two sisters, Marilyn Unger and husband Ed of McCook; Janice Kelsey and husband Steve of McCook; two grandchildren; and 10 step-grandchildren.
Memorials were tp be given in his name to KNGN Radio Station or the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services were at Peace Lutheran Church, Thursday, December 9th, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Randy Wahl officiating. Burial took place in Riverview Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
