Mary Anne Fimple died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 55 years old.
She was born to Ernest and Doris (Shaw) Fimple on December 24, 1953 at St. Catherine's in McCook. Mary Anne graduated from Republican Valley High School in 1972 and attended McCook Community College.
In February of 1989, she began her career at Lifetime Eyecare formally McCook Eye Clinic as an optician. She also worked part-time at the McCook Movie Gallery until the time of her death.
On October 27, 1973, Mary Anne was married to Kip Lytle of McCook. To this union three children were born, son, Brian Lytle, daughters Christy Lytle and Stacy (Lytle) Price. On April 5, 1992, Mary Anne was united in marriage to Dennis Rowe of McCook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Doris Fimple; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her three children, son Brian and his children, Thad and Bailee of McCook; daughters, Christy and her children, Trevor, Karissa, Tyler, Riley and Trey of McCook and Stacy and her husband, Josh Price and their children, Tanner and Preston of Ithaca; three sisters and one brother; numerous family and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in her name.
There will be no viewing as her body was donated to research.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 21, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with Father Thomas McGuire officiating.
