Marybeth Roschewski

Marybeth Roschewski, age 66, of McCook, NE passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, in the comfort of her home in McCook.

Marybeth was born January 3, 1958, in McCook, NE to parents Robert and Muriel (Joy) Eisenach. She was the oldest of three siblings. Marybeth grew up on the family farm near Culbertson, NE and attended school in McCook, where she participated in orchestra. She graduated from McCook High School with the Class of 1976.

On July 26, 1980, Marybeth married John C. Roschewski in Culbertson. The couple made their home on the Eisenach family farm outside of Culbertson. Marybeth was a member of the United Methodist Church, where she participated in bell choir and played the piano.

 Marybeth spent much of her time serving others, in her community, her church, and her home. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she strived to be involved in their lives, activities, and parties, even as she battled cancer. She enjoyed music and played both the violin and the piano. 

 Preceding Marybeth in death were her parents and her husband, John C. Roschewski.

Survivors include her son, John H. (J.J.) Roschewski (Janae Baker) and children Roovini, Nicklin and Piper of Gibbon, NE; daughter, Hannah (Tim) Blomstedt and children Carl and Eleanor of Bloomfield, NE; and brothers, Tom (Patty) Eisenach of McCook, NE and Allen Eisenach of Lincoln, NE. 

 A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the McCook Christian Church, McCook, with Terry McCorkle officiating. 

 Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, McCook.
