Michael Wade McCollum, age 38 of Fremont NE passed away October 19, 2014 in El Paso, TX.
Michael was born October 15, 1976 in French Camp, CA to Jim and Victoria (Taylor) McCollum.
The family moved to the Fremont, NE area when Michael was a youngster.
Michael enjoyed working with his hands and was very mechanical. He loved working on cars and attending demolition derbies.
Michael is survived by his grandmother Jo Anne Taylor of Stockton, CA; mother Vickie and husband Randy Melroy of McCook, NE; sister Crissy and husband Matt Ladd of McCook; brother Jim and wife Tonja McCollum of Indianola, NE, half-sister Kimberly McCollum of Omaha, NE, and step brother Randall and wife Tonja Melroy Jefferson City, MO. Also surviving are aunts, uncles and extended family.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Jim; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandfather.
Memorials can be designated to the family to be used in Michael's memory.
