Michael “Mike” Eugene Howard died unexpectantly Saturday, May 17, 2008 at his home in Howe, Indiana while working on a car. He was 18 years old.
Mike was born on September 23, 1989 to James D. and Virginia (King) Howard in Deming, New Mexico. He was a member of the junior class at Lakeland High School in Howe.
Mike was a respectful and outgoing young man. He was employed at Pizza Hut in Sturgis, Michigan. In his free time, he loved to go fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia King of Howe; his father, James Howard of McCook; one brother, Nicholas D. Howard of McCook; and grandparents, John and Nelda Goetz of Deming, NM and Lula Jones of Michigan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials were to be given in his name.
Graveside services were Friday, May 23, 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Clark Bates officiating. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
