Mildred H. Troutwine

Mildred H. Troutwine died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Community Hospital in McCook. She was 87 years old.

Mildred was born on September 27, 1920 at Sellersburg, Indiana to Ernest and Pearl (Anson) Hostoller. After her graduation from high school she continued her education with two years of college.

She married Willard W. Troutwine on December 7, 1945 in Sellersburg. They moved to the McCook community in 1950 where Mildred was a homemaker. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and PEO Chapter FA. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed getting together with her friends. She moved to Willow Ridge Retirement Community on June 30, 1999 where she was living at the time of her death.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Pearl Hostoller; her husband, Willard Troutwine; and one sister.

Survivors include two nieces Kathryne O’Toole of Fairfax, VA and Karen Debly.

Memorials were to be given in her name.

Graveside services were Thursday, September 18, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

There was also a Memorial Service at Willow Ridge Retirement Community on Friday, September 19, 2008.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
