Naomi Louise Corey, formerly of McCook died Friday, November 14, 2008 at her home in North Platte. She was 38 years old.
Naomi was born on August 3, 1970 in McCook to Joseph Eugene and Mardelle Yvonne (Hilker) Corey. She graduated from McCook High School in 1988 and continued her education at McCook Community College.
She was attending the North Platte First Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting fairies, decorating, fishing and doing craft projects. She also loved planning parties for her nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father, Joseph Corey; and daughter, Andrea Rebekah Fine.
Survivors include her mother Mardelle and step-father, Charles Miller, of McCook; her children, Ciera Dawn Fine and Dakota Levi Fine, both of Lenora, KS; three brothers, Thomas Corey and wife, Nancy, of McCook, David Corey of Tecumseh and Daniel Corey and wife, Millie, of McCook; three sisters, Joan Corey of Hamlet, Mary and husband, John Robison, of Syracuse, and Rebecca and husband, Tony Beegle, of Culbertson; special friend, Donal Scott of North Platte; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and a host of friends.
Memorials were to be given in her name.
Funeral services were Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Wiles officiating. Burial took place in Riverside Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
