Nicholas Andrew ODea, died Friday, August 03, 2007 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was 19.
He was born April 30, 1988 to Andrew V. and Lori J. (Hook) ODea in Cambridge. He graduated from Southwest High School in May 2007. He was enrolled in Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. He attended McCook Christian Church.
He helped on the farm, and was involved in FFA and 4-H. He enjoyed football, basketball, softball and baseball.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Lori ODea; sister, Kelsey ODea all of McCook; Aunts and Uncles, Steve and Dawn ODea of McCook, Joyce and Darrel Potthoff of Johnson Lake, Beth ODea of McCook, Bob and Deanna Brown of Indianola, Pam and John Wagner of St. Louis, MO, Kevin and Marsha Krotter of Ocean Springs, MS, Bill and Jennifer ODea of Deer Park, WA, John and Michelle ODea of McCook; Grandparents, Jack and Evelyn Hook of McCook, Marilyn and Gordon Bohl of Denver, Carlton and Andrea ODea of McCook; great-grandmother, Helen Meyers of McCook; and special friend, Alisha Weaver of Bartley.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Funeral services were Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at McCook Christian Church with Pastor Clark Bates officiating. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
