Opal R. Dack

Opal Ruth Dack, age 91, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
Opal was born June 29, 1926 to Joseph Edward and Maude Cecil (Tubbs) Dack in Red Willow County.
Opal enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting, spending time in her garden and flowers. She was a great cook and her cookies were especially good.
Opal was a member of the Methodist faith. She lived out the fruits of the spirit.
Opal is survived by her brother, Dean H. (Vera) Dack of McCook; six nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruby Dack; five brothers, Grover, Alvin, Edwin, Joseph and Bradley Sr.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2:30 PM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Indianola with Pastor Jeff Kelley officiating with burial to follow.
Memorials may be given in her name.
