Otto Paul Weskamp of McCook died Monday (March 1, 2004) at his home south of McCook. He was 92 years old.
He was born June 22, 1911 to Joseph H. and Marie (Karthauser) Weskamp at McCook. He attended rural school near Marion and lived in the McCook area all his life.
On February 24, 1936 he married Virginia Rose Harris at McCook. They farmed south of McCook. He enjoyed cards and dancing.
He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and McCook Elks Lodge # 1434.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife Virginia, July 29, 1992; and one brother, Vernon.
Survivors include: a son, Lynn of McCook; a daughter, Shirley Nisley and husband James of North Platte; two grandchildren, Daniel Nisley and wife Shauna of North Platte and Kelli Arbogast and husband Jonathan of Norfolk, VA; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Autumn Rose Arbogast.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church with Father Gary Brethour officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Rosary will be Friday evening at 6 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel.
Memorials are being accepted in his name.
