Pamela Kay Torrez of McCook died at her home Tuesday, March 30, 2010. She was 44 years old.
She was born, February 7, 1966 in McCook to Paul H. and Marlene A. (Huffaker) Holthus. She grew up in Culbertson and graduated from Culbertson High School in 1984. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, reading and animals.
Pamela was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Ann and her grandparents, George and Lena Holthus and Ed and Edna Huffaker.
Survivors include her parents, Paul and Marlene of Culbertson; one daughter, Catalina Torrez of Chadron and granddaughter, Vivian Holthus; two brothers, Paul Jr. & Tonya Holthus of Sidney, Montana and Brad and Arlinda Holthus of Dickenson, North Dakota; three sisters, Valerie Holthus of Culbertson, Annette and Shaun Walton of Dorchester and Jolena and Dan Hyde of Chattory, Washington.
Memorials were being accepted in her name.
Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial took place in the Culbertson Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
