Patricia M. Koetter

Patricia M. (Reiners) Koetter, 75, of McCook died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Community Hospital in McCook.

She was born on October 25, 1930 in McCook to Fred and Mary (Tines) Reiners. She attended school at Red Willow Schools. She studied nursing at Kansas City, Kansas and worked for many years as an R.N. at St. Catherine's Hospital in McCook and later at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.

On February 14, 1952, she married Arthur Koetter.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed Doll Club and going to coffee with her many friends. Her greatest joys were her family and she took great pride in their accomplishments. Her grandchildren were a special joy in her life. Pat always had a kind word for everyone she knew and a smile was always on her face.

She is survived by her husband, Art; four daughters, Pam Sellers, Barb Brown and Gloria Barron and husband, Tom, all of McCook and Carri Case and husband, Todd, of York; one sister, Joan Mackey and husband, Bill, of Bloomington, Illinois; and nine grandchildren, Matt Sellers and Mitch Sellers of McCook, Kelsey (Sellers) Vakiner of Central City, Sara Brown, Samantha Brown and Blair Brown all of McCook, Jimmy Barron of McCook and Grant and Erin Case of York.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary; one sister, Marilyn Ann; many aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials were to be given in her name.

Mass of Christian Burial took place on Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook with Rev. Gary Brethour officiating. Burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Rosary was Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
