Patricia 'Patsy' Moreau, 63, died Friday September 30, 2005 at Kindred Hospital in Denver, Colorado after a lifelong battle with lung disease. She was born June 4th, 1942 in Minden Nebraska to Elmer L. and Dorothy I. (Heinrich) Davidson.
She graduated from Minden High School in 1960 and completed one year at Kearney State Teacher's College. On July 2, 1961 she married Roger Moreau of Upland Nebraska. The couple lived in Denver, Minden, Holdrege, and moved to McCook in 1974. She was a secretary at Northward Elementary school for 18 years until her retirement in 2000. Patsy was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant brother. Survivors include her husband Roger of McCook, mother Dorothy and sister Donna Dyke both of Minden; son Brian Moreau, wife Beth, and children Kathryn, Alex, and Emily of Castle Rock, Colorado; Daughter Janice and husband Pat Howell and children Amber and Kiel of Pender, Nebraska; Son James Moreau, wife Andrea and child Ali of Holdrege, Nebraska; Daughter Brenda and husband Bryan Buechter and children Bryce, Breanna, and Brady of Ceresco, Nebraska.
She enjoyed genealogical research, traveling, and time spent at their lake cabin. Patsy loved her husband, family and friends, and she loved life.
Memorials are to be given in her name.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2:00 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
