Patsy E. Heble

Patsy E. Heble, age 79, of McCook, NE passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Community Hospital in McCook.

Patsy was born August 7, 1941 in McCook to parents Anthony and Inez (Brunswick) Hakenkamp.  She was one of six children born to this union.  Patsy grew up in McCook, graduating from McCook High School with the Class of 1959.  Many years later she returned to school, obtaining her associate degree from Colby Community College in 1986.

On October 15, 1960, Patsy married the love of her life, Ronald R. Heble, in McCook. The couple was blessed with three children.

Patsy enjoyed being a homemaker and farmer’s wife.  She stayed active in her kids’ activities by attending everything from 4-H meetings to school functions.  Patsy was a very religious person.  She attended prayer groups and she was a member of the alter society.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron Heble in 2015; one daughter, Michelle Heble; sister, Sharon Hakenkamp; and two brothers, Bob and Eugene Hakenkamp.

Those left to celebrate her life include her children, Jason (Leslie) Heble and their children, Cody and Sara, all of Litchfield Park, AZ and Lisa (Michael) Hughes and children, Dylan and Jacquelyn, all of Wittmann, AZ; and her two sisters, Judy Kamp of Sun City, AZ and Connie (Donnie) Conway of Boise, ID.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2021 at St. Cyrill Cemetery in Atwood with Pastor Johnny Walker officiating.
