Pauline A. Coghill, 92, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
On September 7, 1912 she was born to Clark A. and Clara (Beckman) Beaty at Ossian, Indiana. She attended schools in Nebraska, Indiana, Kansas and Colorado and taught elementary school for four years in Kansas. She was Postmaster in Cedar Bluffs, Kansas for two years.
On January 26, 1935 she married Wilson Kesler Coghill in Colby, Kansas. To this union one son was born.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband on January 4, 2001; three sisters, Ruth Featherston, Gertrude Ellis, Bernice Smith, and an infant daughter Barbara.
Survivors include: a son, James Coghill and wife Erlene of Ogallala; grandsons, Bradley Coghill and wife, Jenny, and their daughter Hannah of Whittier, CA and Curt Coghill of Kearney.
Memorials are being accepted in her name
Funeral services were Monday, December 27, 2004 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial took place in the Danbury-Marion Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
