Pauline Hagemann

Pauline Hagemann, age 100, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton.

She was born to George and Katherine (Brenning) Bauer on November 16, 1909 in Culbertson.

She was married to William F. Hagemann. They made their home on a farm west of Culbertson where they raised their three children. Pauline was a busy mother as well as working on the farm along side her husband.

Pauline was a part of a bowling league and card club, she enjoyed crocheting, crafts and cooking. She took pride in her yard and was able to take care of it until just a couple of years ago.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; two daughters, Norma McKee and Shirley Sitzman; and son, Robert Hagemann.

She is survived by her grandchildren, William "Bill" Hagemann and wife, Sue, Albert Hagemann and wife, Sheila all of Culbertson; Darla Sitzman and husband, Ron of Grand Island, Brenda Flickinger and husband, Gary, Brian Sitzman and Brad Sitzman all of Liberty, MO; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in her name to St. John's Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 4, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Brad Rick officiating. Burial will be in the Culbertson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 until noon and Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
