Piper Brooklyn Waddell

Piper Brooklyn Waddell infant daughter of Michael Paul and Rebecca Sue (Gilliam) Waddell of Bartley, went to be with Jesus on Friday, April 3, 2009. She was born at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Survivors include her parents Michael and Rebecca Waddell of Bartley; two sisters, TayLynn and Audra Waddell of Bartley; maternal grandparents, Brent and Lori Cobb of McCook and Earl "Butch" and Sherry Gilliam of Lincoln; paternal grandparents, Trudy and Jerry Burkholder of Bartley; great-grandparents, Kenneth and Janice Waddell of McCook, Joyce Gilliam of Milligan, Jo Burkholder of Corsicana, TX, Doris Phillips of Sedona, AZ, Kenneth and Jean Kohlmann of Lincoln and Francis Shiree of Lincoln; great-great grandmother, Dorothy Eisenbarth of McCook; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death were her infant sister, Shyanne Destiny; paternal grandfather, Timothy Waddell; great-grandparents, Lloyd and Delores Helberg, Earl Gilliam, Gerald Hietbrink, Royce Cobb and Robert Phillips; and great-great-grandparents, Florence Mercer, Fred and Edna Gilliam, Henry and Ada Hestermann, William and Gertrude Hietbrink, and Dorman and Darlene Cobb.

Memorials were to be given in her name.

Funeral services were Wednesday, April 8, 2009, 10:30 a.m., at McCook Christian Church with Pastor Clark Bates officiating. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
