Que Quigley, 81, passed away at his residence in Pensacola, FL on July 30, 2006.
Que was born on June 19, 1925, on a farm near Indianola, NE. His parents were B. Adrian and Fern (Duckworth) Quigley.
Que attended school in Indianola, graduating in 1942. After working in a Seattle shipyard for about a year he joined the U.S. Navy in 1943, being discharged in 1946.
In 1945 Que and Clarice Frank were married in Seattle, WA. He was employed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in 1946 and except for a Navy tour during the Korean Conflict, worked for that organization until his retirement in 1982. He worked for the Bureau in Indianola and McCook, NE, Yakima, WA, and Boise, ID.
Clarice preceded him in death in 2002, a few days before their 57th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Frank, two grandchildren, Jill Woods and Jeffrey Q. Lewis, and one great granddaughter, Erin Woods, all of Salem, OR. Other survivors include two brothers, Dean (Donna) of Seattle, WA, and Hale (Dolores), and one sister, Marilyn Austin of Pensacola, FL. He was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Kendall (Gladys) of Pensacola, FL.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Inurnment will be at the Indianola Cemetery, September 15, 2006 at 10 AM.
