Rick Allen Bridgmon, 50, of Palisade, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Chase County Hospital in Imperial.
On February 23, 1955, he was born to Raymond Lyle and Ruth Marie (Edghill) Bridgmon in McCook. He grew up in the Denver area and graduated from Denver Lincoln High School in 1973. Rick moved to the Palisade community in 2004 where he was residing at the time of his death. Rick was employed as a marketing executive for Lamont Marketing of Minneapolis, Min. He later became a truck driver for various companies, the most recent for Briggs and Sons of Imperial.
Rick married Brenda Cudd on June 5, 1982 at Edmond, OK. To this union one daughter was born.
Rick was an avid fan of Nascar, attending many races or just watching them on television, Husker football, and spending time with family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents Gladys & Harold Pop Edghill and paternal grandparents George and Jean Bridgmon.
Survivors include his daughter, Lacey Bridgmon of Edmond, Okla.; his parents, Ray and Ruth Bridgmon of Palisade; one brother Craig Bridgmon and wife, Barbara, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one sister Kristy Bridgmon of Denver, Colo.; two nephews, Jerrad Bridgmon and wife, Krista, of Flagstaff, Ariz. and Aaron Bridgmon and wife, Jennifer, and their son, Joshua of Castle Rock, Colo.; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Funeral services were Tuesday, October 11th, at 11 a.m. at the Palisade United Methodist Church with Rev. Judith Dye officiating.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
