Biography
Robert "Rob" Jacob McConville, age 27, died Monday, November 30, 2009 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born February 23, 1982 to Bob D. and Cindy L (Brooks) McConville in McCook. He graduated from Republican Valley High School in 2001 and went on to Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. Upon graduation he returned to become a partner in the family farm with his parents and brother Jason.
In Indianola on September 7, 2002; he married his high school sweetheart and soul mate Brenda K. Crocker. He enjoyed Cornhusker Football, team penning, hunting, and most of all, his family. His good nature and smile were his trademark.
He was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Brooks and Bernie Blume.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda McConville; children, Summer and Shyann McConville and son expected in March; parents Bob and Cindy McConville of Indianola; parents-in-law, Bill and Lorie Crocker of McCook; brother, Jason and wife, Jenni McConville of Indianola; Justin McConville and wife, Josette of Kearney; sisters Stephanie Neseth and husband, Jason of Bartley, Nicole McConville of Indianola; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Adam Crocker of McCook and Cindy Glos and husband, Dan of North Platte; grandparents, La Vera Brooks of McCook, Robert and Kathy McConville, Jane and Charles Blume/McConville all of Indianola; Godmother Michelle Wood; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday , December 3, 2009 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2009 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church with Father Thomas McGuire as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
