Biography
Robert Hancock Jr. died Friday, September 11, 2009 at McCook. He was 55 years old.
"Bob" was born on March 1, 1954 at Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert and Florene Rose (Nixon) Hancock, Sr.
He lived in Morrison, Colorado where he was employed with the railroad as an engineer. He often traveled to McCook with the railroad where he had made many friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tonja Boatman.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Florene Hancock of Golden, CO: daughter, Heather Porter and her husband, Butch, of Milan, NM; three brothers, Craig Hancock of Council Bluffs, David Hancock of Morrison, and Brian Hancock of Houston, TX; three grandchildren and a host of friends.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. MST.
