Robert “Bob” W. Clark passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at Community Hospital in McCook. He was 86 years old.

Bob was born on February 8, 1921 on a farm south of McCook to Fred Milton and Lucy (Nothnagle) Clark.

On October 24, 1943, he married Berniece Heskett at Oberlin, Kan. To this union twin daughters were born. Following Berniece’s death in 1978, he married Josephine Cuellar on March 23, 1980. Bob spent most of his life in the McCook community where he farmed and was also a painter until he retired.

Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with a special nephew, Mark, on his farm south of McCook and companion Jenny and friend Darlene Cuellar.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred and Lucy Clark; his wives, Berniece and Joshephine; and two sisters, Helen Graf and Lola Griffing.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen and husband, Fred Gammel, of Mesa, Ariz. and Korrine and husband, Don Rowland of McCook; two grandsons, four granddaughters, and 11 great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Anne and husband, Jim Dowd, of Indianola; two step-granddaughters and three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Clark of San Pablo, Calif.; and one sister, Barbara Jean Sprenkle of Dodge City, Kan.

Memorials were to be given in his name.

Funeral services were Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial took place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
