Roselene Mae (Bedore) Weber, age 86, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.

She was born on May 27, 1929 in Zurich, Kansas, to the late Lawrence Bedore and Beatrice (Forgue) Bedore. She moved to Culbertson with her family when she was in 8th grade and graduated from Culbertson High School in 1947.

Roselene married Ernst Weber on February 10, 1948 in Trenton at St. James Catholic Church. To the union five children were born.

For 30 years, Roselene and Ernst farmed near Culbertson, Trenton, and Stratton. They also lived in Nevada, MO and McCook. Roselene enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Altar Societies and following Parishes of St. James Catholic Church in Trenton, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratton, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nevada, MO, and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in McCook. She also taught religious education classes and served on numerous committees while her children were in school.

Roselene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Denis and Lionel Paul; two brothers, Loren and Melvin Bedore.

Survivors include her son, Tilden Weber of McCook, daughters, Erlene Madsen and husband, Monte of Lone Tree, CO, Angela Wilson and husband, John of House Springs, MO, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Memorials may be given to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 409 East F St. McCook, NE 69001, or Hillcrest Nursing Home, 309 West 7th St. McCook, NE 69001.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on July 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Fr. Gary Brethour officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the praying of the rosary at 7 pm. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.
