Roy L Seybold, 45, of McCook passed away on December 2, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Roy was born on January 7, 1962 in McCook to Ron and Donna (McKernan) Seybold. He attended school in McCook. Roy married Kathy Mains on May 19, 1980 in Oberlin, Kansas. To this union, three children were born.
Roy was employed by Southwest Implement, Cornbelt Chemical, Seaboard Grain, G & R Farms, G & A Farms, Major Transport and Rick Ruggles. At the time of his death, Roy was self-employed as a truck driver. Roy's love of driving truck and hauling cattle was very evident in his daily life.
Survivors include his three sons Chris and wife Kati (Newtson) of Benkelman, Michael and wife Lisa (Lindquist) of Grand Island and Mark of McCook, his mother Donna of McCook, his sister Reba and husband Bruce Solko of North Platte, his grandmother Elaine Potts of Cambridge, six grandchildren, one niece, two nephews, a great-nephew and several aunts and uncles.
Roy was preceded in death by his father, Ron Seybold, and his grandparents, Fred Seybold, Daisy (Applebee) Seybold and Ellen (Frakes) Seybold.
A memorial was established in his name. Condolences were to be sent to the family at PO Box 7, Benkelman, NE 69021.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook. Burial took place at the Trenton Cemetery.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
