Russell "Russ" Louis Niebur

Russell “Russ” Louis Niebur, age 43, of McCook, NE passed away unexpectedly at Community Hospital in McCook on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.

Russ was born to parents Ronald Louis and Peggy Ann (Roberts) Niebur on October 23, 1972 in Denver, CO.  He was one of three siblings growing up in Colorado, graduating from Green Mountain High School in Lakewood.

Russ loved the Colorado Rocky Mountains where he spent time camping. The summers found him boating on the lakes of Nebraska.  He also enjoyed participating in shooting sports.  Spending time with his family and friends brought him much joy.

Russ was a longtime employee of the Coors Brewing Company in Denver where he worked for over fifteen years. He lived in Tennessee for a short stint before relocating to McCook in 2014.  While living in McCook, Russ was employed by the Parker Hannifin Corporation.

Russ was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harold and Ruth Niebur; his maternal grandparents Earl and Marian Roberts; uncle William George; and aunt Anita Bruce.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents Ron (Peggy) Niebur; sister Jean Niebur and sister Beth Bethell and her daughter, Ella, all of McCook.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook from 3 to 7PM.

A Rosary will be recited following the visitation, 7PM, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, 11:00 AM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, McCook, with Father Gary Brethour serving as Celebrant.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, McCook.
