Samuel McNeal Roberts

Samuel McNeal Roberts, age 72, died Sunday April 26, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
He was born September 17, 1936 in Joplin, MO to D. G. (Bob) and Mary Juanita (Higgins) Roberts. Family moved from Missouri. to Arizona in 1947. He graduated from West Phoenix High School in 1955 and then continued his education at A.S.U.. Before retirement he was owner operator of a construction business in Az. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1961 and was stationed in Germany.
He moved to McCook in 2001. He worked at Three Star Dairy on a part time basis. He enjoyed model trains, yard work and gardening.
He was a member of Prairie View Baptist Church in McCook.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Wiley and husband, Stacy of Denver, CO, Linda Roberts, Debbie Nagel and husband, Rick all of Tempe, AZ, Tammy Townsend, Danny Bursh and husband, Eric all of Chandler, AZ; brothers, Gregg Roberts and wife, Donna, Jerry Roberts and wife, Deah all of McCook; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Memorial gathering will be held at the home of Gregg & Donna Roberts, 1007 West 2nd St., McCook, NE. on Friday May 1st, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Friends and family are all invited to attend.
