Terrance Terry Harold Bridger, age 63, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Oberlin, Kansas.
He was born May 29, 1944 in Albany, New York to Harold H. and Virginia I. (Shaul) Bridger.
He entered the U.S. Army in September of 1963 and was honorably discharged in September of 1969. Terry was a heavy equipment operator for the Nebraska Department of Roads for many years. After moving to Oberlin in 2004, he worked for Ampride Gas Station until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Bridger.
He is survived by his significant other, Marilyn Farr of Oberlin; daughters, Erin Bridger of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Kelly Corona of Lake Forest, California; father, Harold Bridger of Ilion, New York; sister, Donna of Mohawk, New York; niece, Lori Kline of Schenectady, New York; two grandchildren; and numerous friends.
Memorials were to be given in his name.
Memorial services were held Friday, February 22, 2008, 3:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating.
Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
