Terry Dyer

Terry Wayne Dyer died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at Premier Estates Senior Living in North Platte. He was 58 years old.

Terry was born on July 14, 1946 at Dennison, Texas to Elbert Washington and Virgie Ethel (Foxx) Dyer.

On October 10, 1975, he married Dixie L. Matson at Guyman, Oklahoma. They moved to the McCook community in 1998. Terry was a self-employed handyman doing such jobs as painting, mowing, janitor work, mechanic and truck driving. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Preceding him in death were his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Dixie Dyer of McCook; son, John Elbert Dyer of McCook; daughter, Cathy Louise and husband, Larry Schutz, of Cambridge; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Jane Schutz.

In Lieu of flowers memorials are being accepted in his name.

Funeral service were Wednesday at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Rev. Dr. Stanley Upchurch. Burial took place Friday, February 4th at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, TX.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook was in charge of the arrangements.
