Terry Lee Steier died Sunday (April 17, 2005) at United Medical Center Hospital in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was 31 years old.
On June 26, 1973 he was born in Oberlin, Kansas to Curtis L. and Deborah K. (Eby) Steier. He graduated from Herndon High School in 1992.
He married Gina Frazier in June of 1996 in Kearney. They had two children, Dalton and Tyla.
He was a truck driver working in Cheyenne, Wyoming for S & S Builders General Contractors and was on the security staff for Scooters Bar. He loved sports, including basketball, softball, bowling and rodeo. He was a rodeo clown and also rode bulls.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Florence Steier, grandfather George Eby and an uncle, Stan Eby.
Survivors include: his parents; two sons, Dalton Seybold of Wilcox, Corbin Steier of Kearney; a daughter, Tyla Steier of Wilcox; two sisters, Teena Steier and Tabitha Steier both of North Platte; grandmother, Verna Eby of Goodland, Kansas; and two nieces, Kirstyn Shellabarger & Ashlyn Steier; and many friends, including his extended "family" in Cheyenne.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are being accepted in his name.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Indianola Christian Church with Scott Mustion officiating. Burial will be in the Indianola Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home in McCook. Friends may sign his book at the funeral home or may go on-line at www.carpenterbreland.com to extend condolences.
