Wesley Earl Nichols

Wesley Earl Nichols, age 38, of McCook, NE, passed away at his home on Friday, August 16, 2019.

He was born on April 3, 1981 to Debra Farr and Harold Ernest Nichols, III.

On March 25, 2009 he married Misty Vaughn, from this union one son, Adam, was born.

He loved to go fishing and camping, anything to do with being outdoors was his life. He also enjoyed spending time wrestling around with the kids.

Wes was preceded in death by an unborn child; grandparents, Harold and Glenva Nichols; great grandparents, Floyd and Ruth Laidge, Ernie and Erylene Nichols and Earl and Nina Tally.

He is survived by his wife, Misty, and son, Adam, of McCook, NE;  mother, Debra Farr and her significant other Monty Roos of North Platte, NE; mother in Law, Linda Vaughn of McCook, NE; stepfather, Jr. Farr of North Platte; brothers, Levi Nichols and Sheila and  Kevin Farr and Sierra all of McCook, Samuel Roos, Nathen Roos, and Kyle Roos all of North Platte; sisters, Kari Husted and Chuck  of Norton, KS, Brenna Nichols and Alex of McCook;  as well asgrandfather Norman Tally and Annie of Venture, CA.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are suggested in Wesley’s name, c/o Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, P.O. Box 476, McCook, NE 69001.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral  Home in McCook with Pastor Bill Duncan, officiating.  Burial of cremains will be held at a later date.

The family ask that friends join the family at Barnett Park following the service for a pot luck remembrance gathering.
